Big holiday is coming

Big holiday is right around the corner. Songkran day or known as New Year’s day in Thailand is coming up in a week. It’s celebrated on April 13 and ended on April 15. Plus, it’s also considered the most important event in our country.

Songkran falls on the most humid and hottest time of the year. People go out on the street and splash out water in the fun way, so it’s technically called Water Splashing Festival as well.

What I think is special for this holiday is that everyone is coming back home including my big sister. Yahooo~~She will be finishing her exam and flying back here right away. I look forward to this 2014 one more intensely than I ever. To be honest, it has to do with stuff she’ll be carrying because I did ask her some favors. (haha)  I just can’t wait to see her. Love her though Aww how sweet~~

Tonight, my friend and I went to a thrift store that we’ve never been to before. The minute we walked in we saw books and went straight to them. We ended up spending our entire time there. They had a buy 4 get 1 free deal. Each book was listed for $3-4 dollars. When we got to the cashier, he randomly brought them down to less then a dollar each! And we still got a book free.

Cool. I wish there was this kind of book store in my country.

Great start

January 2014 has been the incredible month of mine. Since 2014 has started, I have been to different places, met different people, and done different cool things. I think I start my 2014 pretty well and I will keep starting my years ahead better and better.

I am actually supposed to talk about my new year’s resolution, but I’ve been technically sick of my boring resolutions which is always like “Lose 5 kg this year “. It’s very simple but never happens. whatever, I have got my new goal for 2014 which is ” Practice more Korean”, and I’m working on it. :D

Poor me

I have an oral presentation as Mid term exam tomorrow. Fortunately, It’s Korean which been causing me some worries this semester. Incidentally, yesterday was my first day of practicing Yoga, and I feel bit painful in my muscle right on the neck and arms. So, I feel distracted. I am supposed to concentrate on my presentation tomorrow. Instead of practicing my lines, I am massaging myself. I hope at least it helps.

Sister’s Graduation

My sister currently graduated another degree, and the ceremony is held very soon in Bangkok. Our family, we live in the province. We have to book the tickets in advanced very advanced I swear. So we did get the cheap ones. And now I think I probably not go because of the mid term exam. I swear i did carefully check if I could go before I confirmed to my Mom. and It seems like I just make my mom secretly mad. I know it has to do with the ticket and the family obligation. Anyway I do congratulate.
